Mounted Officers are regularly seen in many of our City's parade's and other community events.
The Mounted Patrol is perhaps the Police Department's best tool for boosting positive relations with the community, particularly with the children.

Officers of the Mounted Patrol and volunteers regularly give of their own time participating in community events acquainting the public to the horses and giving pony rides to hundreds of children each year.
